Yaaaaaaay, a Tokyo Mew Mew review! And a good one too, though you failed to
mention the best bishonen in the series - Kish! I will say that the manga art
is better than the anime, but then, I almost always prefer manga to anime, no
matter the series XP Guess that's just the old-fashioned purist in me!
And "Blah!" to the 4kids dubbed version! Bad, icky, foul, depraved
edit that it is!
P.S. - do you have any idea as to where I can find TMM on DVD? And I mean the
sub version, not the dub! *shudder, shudder*
Ouch. Hmmm, I guess I know where you come from, comparing the anime to the
manga. More often as not, the anime pales in comparison! I'm not a rabid clamp
fan, so when I read TRC, I wasn't too thrilled with how much the art had changed
since WISH and X. *shrugs* I guess it's all right for some, but I prefer the
older "baroque"-style of clamp. Thanks for the info!
Ooo, wow, I'm so getting slammed for my low rating of RK, and I'm a huge fan!
Before anyone takes a contract out on me, let me say that RK is my favorite
anime and always will be! It's just that everything that happened after the
Kyoto Arc in the anime didn't follow the manga storyline at all, and by
comparison, both the style and the story suffered greatly! If I had the ability
to rate everything up through the Kyoto Arc seperately, I'd give the series a
9.5, AT LEAST!
